Your Camel Ride experience takes place in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, a conterraneo habitat for the Arabian Camel. At a calm, steady pace, the camel shepherd for your activity will take you through the Reserve’s desert plains, in a throwback to the centuries of desert roaming camels are famous for. Everything is well marked and it’s easy to go around the closed beaches by simply traveling on the dunes. There are signs and sometimes the Plover nesting grounds are cordoned off, so you don’t have to worry about accidentally driving through an environmentally sensitive area.

The Florence Oregon Sand Dunes are broken down into three separate sections each with it’s own staging, parking and camping. Unfortunately travel between the sections isn’t possible within the OHV area – you would have to trailer your vehicle to each of the three different areas.
